Wood Chess Set - Raised Board - Walnut and White Oak - Coffee Table Size

Hand Made Wooden Chess Board

Made from solid Walnut and White Oak.  This board is coated with a soft satin lacquer, which leaves the wood looking more natural than a board would with a high gloss. This raised board adds a little depth to its appearance, and looks great as a display piece.

This chess board can also be paired with optional sets of game pieces, both in standard and premium weighted versions. The standard pieces are common boxwood pieces (dark ones stained), and are great for the casual or entry level player who wants a beautiful, natural wood set to play on. The premium weighted pieces are made from matching Walnut and White Oak, with all natural grain (no stain), and are clear coated with lacquer. Premium sets include extra queens (1 per side). Additionally, finely finished matching storage boxes are also an option, which are made from the same wood species as the pieces.

Engraving may be placed on either the border of the board (top or bottom), or on the box lids if purchasing (top or bottom).
