Hand Made Wooden Chess Board

Made from solid Cherry and Maple.  This board is coated with a soft satin lacquer, which leaves the wood looking more natural than a board would with a high gloss

This raised board adds a little depth to its appearance, and looks great as a display piece.

This chess board can also be paired with optional sets of game pieces, both in standard and premium weighted versions. The standard pieces are common boxwood pieces (dark ones stained), and are great for the casual or entry level player who wants a beautiful, natural wood set to play on. The premium weighted pieces are made from matching Cherry and Maple, with all natural grain (no stain), and are clear coated with lacquer. Additionally, finely finished matching storage boxes are also an option, which are made from the same wood species as the pieces.
